cinderella and the prince..

so i was messaging a new friend about love being a fairy tale…and i told him i didn’t think there was such a thing…that life isn’t like the movies and people just thought everything would be ok once you got married….but i’ve recently changed my mind. i think life isn’t a fairy tale but i do think there is fairy tale love. everything isn’t always perfect in the love that you see in movies or you read in books. cinderella had to go through so much stuff to find and be with her prince. i think if someone makes your life better just by being in the same room. the kind of love when you can’t get enough of each other and when you’re in a room full of people and it seems like you’re the only 2 in it…thats fairy tale love. when that person has changed your life and become everything you’ve ever needed and wanted..thats fairy tale love. when that person is your best friend and you can laugh and cry with them..when you’re still completely attracted to someone when they are coughing up mucus, snot running out of their nose and they look like they’ve been run over by a bus…thats fairy tale love. i think when you’re married for 50 years and still so in love with each other even after those 50 years of life has happened to both of you…thats living happily ever after…i hope that one day i find my prince because i believe love like that still exist even in this world we live in today. i want to be able to show my children that cinderella and her prince is a true story. life isn’t always perfect and neither is love…but i think to find a perfect love it has to be unperfect.
